Having Our Moment

1/16/2016

Just as Elijah had his moment destroying the Prophets of Baal (I Kings Ch. 18), so do we. When we seem to be up on the mountain and nothing can stop us. We have faith and all is going well. We dare to believe. We are willing to step out into new things. Saying, “God here am I send me” (Isa. 6:8). Doing the impossible and seeing God’s hand move. We are just like Elijah.

Then, just when we think we have it all under control, satan shows up. Even knowing God is working for us, right then we begin to doubt. The devil uses something or someone to put fear in us. Just when we were in our glory and looking good. Maybe that’s it? God keeps us humble. If He lets us go too long on the mountain, we have no need for Him or help from Him. All is ok.

We tend to run from trouble like Elijah. We run and hide and want to die. We get all pitiful.  We feel like we are all alone and God has left us to die. When He plainly told us, He will never leave nor forsake us. (Heb. 13:5) Even as He came to Elijah and said I got 7000 that ain't bowed the knee. (I Kings 19:18)

So, never give up! God’s always got a plan. And God’s always got someone that can handle the battle. Question is. Is it you, or does He need an Elisha to take over? As for me and my house, we shall serve the Lord. (Joshua 24:15)

God is good all the time, and all the time God is good. So, pray on and stand. If God be for you, then who can be against you? (Romans 8:31) To God be the glory!

New Year

1/3/2016

Well, things are slowing down. The holidays are passing and things are going back to normal. Just remember, God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. (Hebrews 13:8)  But the New Year has come and it means we are closer to the return of our Lord. YES, Jesus is getting ready to return in all his glory! (Matthew 25:31) Them streets of gold are that much closer. (Rev. 21:21) And with that, satan has launched all he has in an attempt to stop us from having what he can’t; a life with no more sorrows, no sickness, no bills, and no worries. Just blessed in heaven, singing and praising God. He (satan) was kicked out and he knows how good it is. He wanted to rule there. He is so jealous of you now. You can have what he lost if you endure to the end. (Mark 13:13) So, that’s why you feel such an attack at times, because your time is just ahead. Just keep holding on to his nail scared hand. He will never leave you nor forsake you. (Hebrews 13:5) Just keep looking unto the hills. (Psalm 121:1) Jesus will come in all his glory. No man knows the day and hour. (Mark 13:32) So, it’s more important than ever to keep covered in the blood. Our names are written in the lamb’s book of life. (Rev. 21:27) Remember Jesus is coming soon. Hang in there!!!! And remember as I always say, “God is good all the time”.

Keep trusting and believing. God never fails. (Deut. 31:6)

Remember

When you have done all you can to stand. Stand therefore. (Eph 6:13-14) Never throw the towel in because just when you think it’s over, God comes through. It is never too late for God. He never said our Cross would not be heavy. It even got heavy for JESUS. So, He knows how we feel. (Matt 27:32)
Don’t forget what this season is about; JESUS and his birth. Some get focused on other things and forget about Him. He is God and Him alone. (Isa. 45:5) Sometimes He asks us to move by faith in order to receive our miracles. Stepping out before we see His hand - just knowing if we move in Christ for His will - He will show up. Peter did not know the water would hold him till he stepped out on it.  Even then, he still needed God to keep him safe as he began to sink. (Matt. 14:22-33) But JESUS never fails. He came through.

Remember, God Is Good all the time, and all the time God is good!!!! We all have battles and struggles. Just because it not the same as yours, doesn’t mean that we don’t still have them. When you look at others and begin to think they have got it made and your trial is much worse, you have no idea what battles others carry for the Lord. So never judge or think I am so pitiful. You right where you are at for a reason. Either God put you there or you let something else put you there. Either way, God is Merciful and He will help you if you keep your eyes on him. (Heb. 12:2) Mediate day and night therein. (Josh. 1:8) Look unto the hills where your help comes. (Ps. 121:1)

JESUS is the reason for the season and the answer to all your problems. Never doubt God. He is always on time. It may not be your time, but it’s never late because it’s His time. God Bless and Merry Christmas

Love

Cast Your Cares

12/13/2015

The Bible tells us to cast all our cares upon Him. And that He cares for us. (I Peter 5:7) Sometimes it may feel as if we pray and ask for help and He doesn’t hear. Be careful how you ask for help. Many times we tie up God’s hands as we ask. You ask “How?” Well, when we tell Him our troubles instead of letting God have free space to move His way. And mind you, His way is much higher and wiser than ours. (Isaiah 55:9) We start telling God He needs to do this or that and how it should be done. Almost like we are God over Him and He doesn't know how to fix our problem. The key word here is trust. Trust Him with all your heart not doubting. (Proverbs 3:5) He will come through! It may not be how you wish, but it will be the way that is best for us. Not just in our situation but also for us spiritually.

The more I tell God to see my problems and just say ‘handle it’, the more I see Him do. Many times tears come to my eyes and my heart is touched so much spiritually when He moves. I just have to stop and begin to thank Him. God doesn't owe us anything. We owe him. After all, He paid the price we couldn't.  He made a way for us to be saved. (John 3:16) And then called us out even as sinners to be saved. (Romans 5:8) To be washed in the Blood of Jesus and the promise of eternal life is way more than us sinners deserve. (Eph. 1:7) But He doesn't stop there and blesses us in so many more ways.

So, when you feel He ain't moving just stop and say ‘thank you’ and give Him praise for what He has already done. Then sit back wait. YES, I said wait! (Ps. 27:14) Let Him take over and see the glory of God.

Do As Unto the Lord

8/16/2015

COLOSSIANS 3:23, 24 tells us whatever we do to do it as unto the Lord. How would we treat the Lord if He was in front of us knowing He knows everything about you? Imagine every time we come in contact with sinners, they know all about you too. So, how quick would you take that holier-than-thou attitude knowing that they know your faults and short comings? You would be slow to speak and slow to judge them right? Then maybe your focus would be more like ‘How can I help you?’ than ‘How can I judge you?’ Then we might actually plant more seeds and water more. We might actually see souls get saved.

Right now the world is in chaos. People are pointing fingers at everything and blaming everyone; starting trouble all over. People are sick of being persecuted and condemned. Maybe if we just point them to Christ with nothing but love and let God do the rest, we might even see a harvest. People are in trouble and heading for hell. So, instead of pushing them on towards it, let’s pull some out; like Jesus did to us my friend. We have the answer to their needs. But getting them to listen with an open mind will only happen when it is served with love and not judgment. Right now it seems the Lord is reaching way down in the gutters for souls and He wants to use us. So, pray for a loving spirit and see what God can do through you. The homeless, bikers, gang members, drug addicts, alcoholics, and those in nursing homes can’t come to you. They need you and me to step up and get on our game and work as unto the Lord. Take this to heart.

God Bless

Friends

5/23/2015

The Bible says that for a man to have friends he must first show himself friendly proverbs 18:24. There are plenty of mean and cold people in this world. And people are looking to be loved. But in order for that to ever happen you must show kindness first.

The missionaries did this by taking food, clothing and material needs for the people they wanted to reach and share Jesus. They also spent time getting to know them and sharing meals together much like Jesus did in his day. But when we do the same thing here at home, we are talked about by the busy body Christian or condemned by the holier than thou Christian. The first thing they do is criticize you for being around the lost or sinners, like you have lost your salvation when, in reality, you have found your true purpose with God. Entering the highways and hedges to seek the lost and win souls for Jesus Luke 14:23. The more you do to share Jesus the more you will be talked about. Jesus said as they persecuted me so shall they persecute you John 15:20.

So remember, being a true soul winner means you won’t be loved by the hypocrites. But you will be growing much closer to the Lord and laying up treasures in heaven where no one can steal them away Matthew 6:20. So, never worry what people call you. Just know, all that counts is Jesus calling you home in the end when we will go to be with Jesus (Praise God!!!!!!!) JESUS IS COMING SOON.

Easter

4/5/2015

Easter is a time when we worship the Lord and His resurrection.  Most people have turned it into nothing more than a play day, but for us Christians it is much more.

We celebrate the arising of our Lord Jesus. So let’s do something more this year. Let us arise from all our problems. We are told in the Bible we are like Him (I John 3:3). We are told we will arise to be with him (Eph. 5:14). We are his chosen generation, a royal priesthood (I Peter 2:9). Ok so let’s run with that.

Arise up and out from debt, sickness, stress, issues. Let this be our day to arise and live free. Knock the devil out. It’s not only our day, but our year to shine! We will not be held back any longer! Look out devil we're coming through! Get thee behind us (Luke 4:8). We're arising to be the head and not the tail (Deut. 28:13). We have power over all the power of our enemy (Luke 10:19). Use it! Let this be the day and year to come forth. Give a good report and take God for his word. Take back what the devil stole!
Starting with your joy, your praise, and your right to be blessed of the Lord.

Praise God can you feel it? Can you believe it? Go for it! You have the right! Are you with me?
