Blooming In the Desert

10/25/2014

The enemy the devil goes about as a roaring lion trying to devour all he can (I Peter 5:8). But I have learned the secret of God. If God be for you who can be against you (Romans 8:31)?

The prophet Daniel asked for bread and water or pulse and the others had good food; yet, when the Glory of God was revealed he shined healthier and brighter than all the others (Daniel Ch. 1). They can put you in the desert and leave you, but when God is with you and they come back to find you, won’t they be surprised? Because God said He knows all you have need of (Matt. 6:32). And He has never seen His seed begging for bread (Ps. 37:25). God will furnish you a home and everything you have need of right in the desert. The devil has dropped you off in the desert trying to kill you. But, if God can keep them in the belly of a whale. If God can have them shake off a viper in the fire and feel no harm. If God can make man from the dust. If God can speak the sun into existence. The Word says nothing shall be impossible with God (Luke 1:37). And God said He will never leave you nor forsake you (Heb. 13:5). Let the devil throw his biggest bombs. A thousand will fall on one side and ten thousand on the other but it won’t come nigh thy dwelling (Ps. 91:7-10). Every time the devil does evil toward you God will turn it around and make something good out of it (Gen. 50:20).

So, if you are in a desert place, don’t ask God to take you out. Just get ready to see God make you bloom right in the desert, right in front of the devil. When the enemy cast the men of God in prison, God shook the walls, saved souls, and set the captive free (Acts Ch. 16). If your ground looks bare, go look again. Just like the prophet said to the servant when there had been no rain but God was about to bring a down pour for the children of God (I Kings Ch. 18). So look, and believe your miracle is on the way. You are about to bloom just so God can show just how big He is. Praise the Lord and except your miracle and let God make your ground Bloom !!!!!!

Trying Times

The Bible tells us in the last days things will wax worse and worse (2 Tim. 3:13). Things are against the Christians in this hour more than ever. The world is continually taking our rights from us more and more. The Government is taking our rights away and now trying to bring gay marriage in all over the U.S. God won’t let things stand too much longer. The Bible says God will shorten the days so the righteous will be saved (Mark 13:20). Sin lives at every corner.

  • Murder and robbery is at every hand.
  • Kids are being abused.
  • Seniors are being attacked more and more.
  • Homes are broken into and people car-jacked.
  • People are attacked in broad day light, and in public places.
  • Children are taken and women are sold as sex slaves.
  • More and more people are losing their homes.
  • Jobs are being lost.
  • Times are tough; even working hard to pay the bills.

We need to keep our eyes on Jesus and start trusting Him more than ever. The devil goes about as a roaring lion (I Peter 5:8) doing all he can to destroy people, families, homes and anyone that believes in Jesus. But one thing I have learned studying the word, God never fails nor ever leaves us during trying times (Heb. 13:5) . There is a part that will come through (Zech. 13:9) and walk the streets of Gold. I intend to be in that number. So when you pray, remember your brothers and sisters in Christ. We are all under attack and need to pray one for another, because there is strength in numbers. One can put down a thousand and two can put down ten thousand (Deut. 32:30) and a threefold cord is not easily broken (Ecc. 4:12). God will see us through and bring the victory. Praise God! It’s time to shout! When all is bad it’s time for a miracle, because God fixing to show Himself strong.

Holding On

10/3/2014

We all, at times, have to rely on Jesus to hold on to us. Never for shaking us. But because when you’ve been on the battle field for a while you get tired and worn down. But God promises to refresh us with His spirit. (Acts 3:19) Sometimes it comes in different ways. Maybe just Jesus meeting a need in our life. Or touching us spiritually during a service. Another reason not to forsake the assembling of ourselves, huh? Could just be extra finances come our way and lift our spirits. Could be God just sends someone like you along with a big smile to lift someone’s spirit. That’s why the joy of the Lord is our strength. (Neh. 8:10) Could be a new job or could be a new or better car. Sometimes when I need to feel God’s Blessing, I jump on my bike and ride feeling the wind in my face. Just know how good God is.

So when you find yourself just holding on, remember He died for you and rose again. He did it so you could be with Him in heaven. It won’t be long!  Just hold on. Help is always on the way and the journey is close to being over. Jesus is returning to gather his children, and I for one want to be in that number. You’re not going down! Just hold on and see the salvation of God. (Exo. 14:13)

Give Him some praise. Even when you don’t feel like it, sacrifice some praise. (Heb. 13:15) He inhabits the praise of His people. (Ps. 22:3) He will come down to you when you can’t come up to him. Praise the Lord!!

In Jesus Name,
